Representative Experience

Defended a prominent educator from wrongful termination and an erroneous DNH decree in both State and Federal Court against an independent office created by statute by the Illinois State Legislature.

Defended a prominent high school principal in the Chicago Public School system against irremediable termination charges brought pursuant to Section 34-85 of the Illinois School Code.

Represented employer against claims by executive for breach of contract and fraud seeking $3 million in damages. Although jury after hearing evidence for 10 days found employer liable for breach of contract, it reduced plaintiff’s damages to lost wages.

Represented an employee-plaintiff against a big box store alleging wrongful termination. Secured settlement on behalf of employee-plaintiff.
